The Milwaukee Bucks submitted bids to host an NBA All-Star game in either 2025 or 2026, TMJ4 News has confirmed.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski first broke the news over Twitter. The last time Milwaukee hosted an All-Star game was in 1977.

Fans say there’s no better time to bring the best of basketball to the Cream City.

"I mean, brand new arena, Bucks are obviously incredible so I don’t see why we wouldn’t be the top choice for that," shared Bucks Fan, Sam Brekke. "While Giannis is in Milwaukee is when it needs to happen."

Even Bulls fans like Maurice Lumpkin say there’s no place like Milwaukee for the All-Stars.

"No doubt Milwaukee should host," Lumpkin said. "They deserve it, they’re turning out all stars left and right, teams are winning left and right, literally on all levels, so I think it would be dope for the city."

Alongside of excitement for the city, fan Emily Thomak told TMJ4 it would bring incredible revenue to the city.

"I was already thinking, like, how much would that be to go there? It doesn't matter, Im going, I’ll be there!"

The Bucks previously submitted unsuccessful bids to host the game in 2022 and 2023.

In 2019, NBA commissioner Adam Silver insisted that it was just a matter of when Fiserv Forum would host an All-Star game.

Indiana will hold the 2024 game.
